Problem With a Bird Nest?

A common cause of a blocked chimney can be a bird nest. Tell tale signs are increased bird activity around the chimney and you may also hear birds tweeting and moving around. If birds have chosen your chimney to build a nest, debris such and twigs and branches will eventually fall down the chimney and eventually the chimney could become blocked or the flow could be severely impaired. Once this happens the smoke from your fir or stove will not exit your property as it should.
